Sparta Developments Ltd is a privately owned family run Commercial Building company based in Yorkshire. We were established over 20 Years ago and offer a complete, professional Design, Construction and Refurbishment service primarily in the Industrial and Commercial sectors with the emphasis on a personal hands on approach to management
For a number of years we have been members of “Construction Line” a data base of pre-selected contractors primarily for use by Local Authorities, Ministry, and Public Utilities. Since our inclusion on the Construction Line database we have gained considerable experience with Local Authority and Educational projects throughout Yorkshire. We are featured in the York City Council Property manual for Schools and are on the select list of contractors for “Yorkshire Water”.
As a Building contractor we are a member of the Federation of Master Builders - FMB, Construction line, CITB, and are accredited with CHAS (Contractors Health and Safety Assessment scheme) and the National House Building Council assures our clients of our commitment to delivering high standards on every project.
Our work is attained through competitively bid projects and design/build contract awards. Project values range from under £10,000 to £300,000 with much of our business coming from repeat clients and architects.

In a time where we all need to consider the environment. We make it a point to advise all clients on the environmentally friendly options to their needs. Our environmental policy states that we play our part in ensuring waste is kept to a minimum whether it be energy or water and we can advise on all the new technology that supports this aim.
Health and Safety
Sparta considers health and safety as a paramount factor to every project we undertake. We are a fully accredited member of the nationally recognised Contractor’s health and safety scheme (CHAS)
We ensure our site operatives are trained in health and safety, asbestos awareness and first aid.
